Labor Day at the Buffalo Zoo – Every September 5, admission at the zoo is only $1, when each visitor presents a coupon. Coupons are available at the local Tops Friendly Markets closer to the event.
Grandparents Day – September 10 is celebrated as Grandparent’s Day. From 10:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m., each grandparent receives free admission with each paid child’s admission. Grandparents also receive $5 off any grandparent membership purchased that day.
Art Gone Wild – This is an art show on the 22nd of September. Pre-sale discount tickets are available during the event.
Howl-O-Ween Hayrides – Every October 15, 16, 22 & 23, discounted tickets are sold for this annual event.
High Five for the Military – Every November 11 each year is celebrated as High Five for the military. It is a time of the year when members of the United States military and their group of up to six (6) people will be admitted to the Zoo for $5.00 total. Valid Military ID must be presented.
AAA Discount: Card holders can often get a 10% AAA Discount rate by presenting your card at the gate.
Group Discount: Educational groups wanting to tour the zoo will receive 25% discount provided that booking is made three weeks in advance.

The Buffalo Zoo is open daily rain or shine! During the months of January and February, zoo is closed during Mondays and Tuesdays.
Closed on Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.
