Denver Zoo reports record for member households
DENVER—The Denver Zoo is reporting it has a record 68,450 member households.
That tops the previous high of 64,040 member households, set in 2010.
The 116-year-old zoo gives its members discounts on special programs and events and purchases within the zoo, plus early access in the summer. It announced its membership record in the same month that its new $50 million exhibit for elephants, rhinoceroses and tapirs opened to the public.
